Had a really quiet weekend full of family stuff. Did your mum's have a nice Mother's Day??

I got rid of the Christmas layout - hooray! I made this quick temporary layout.. I'm going to make a better one for next time hopefully, if I work on it over a couple of weeks I should have enough time to get it done.

The prime minister (Gordon Brown) was staying just down the road from where I work last week, his political party was holding a conference there. He was staying on Broad Street, Birmingham's main night life spot. They closed off half the street and had snipers on the roof and everything :-o Scary stuff.. I DID NOT like walking past them. Thought I might have seen him out getting legless in one of the bars but no such luck lol.

Remember I was moaning about that annoying girl at my belly dancing class?? Well now there's another girl who's just as annoying, if not more! She stares at me loads for some reason, can't imagine why I'm so interesting to look at. She's good but she just looks ridiculous, she looks like Princess Fiona from Shrek! That's not an exaggeration either.. actually she probably looks more like Shrek himself. Wow. I don't know how girls that big get to be good dancers, you'd think with all that practice they'd tone up a bit :-s Speaking of which, I am still losing weight.. I'm now 9st 3lbs. I've no idea how as I've been missing gym trips and I'm back to eating a chocolate bar everyday. I went to look round a different gym Friday afternoon, called LA Fitness. It was pretty small and in the city centre so it would probably get quite busy I imagine. I'm not joining at the moment as still getting free gym membership at David Lloyd due to my boyfriend working there :-D

I'm actually having a night at home tonight, wow should be good! I usually just waste time doing random surfing though lol. I got rid of a lot of my old clothes last night, a lot of them are just horrible fashion mistakes, the others are ones that no longer fit. I filled up a big bag though and could probably fill another if I carried on! I guess I'll probably put some of those on ebay tonight.
